It is hard to believe that one of the most beautiful and elegant of the royals would have turned 50 this week. Yes, Her Royal Highness Diana, Princess of Wales would be turning the big 5-0.
People keep asking the questions, “What if she hadn’t died in that car crash in Paris?” “What would she be like today?” They are both good questions. “What glamor would she have brought to her son’s wedding?” That’s another good question. It makes me wonder if she wouldn’t have out shined the bride. But we will never know and speculation makes for superb stories. Perhaps there is one in the future from Angel Rose.
Newsweek’s photoshopped picture of a very alive Diana, Princess of Wales, and her daughter-in-law Kate Middleton is really one of poor taste. But pictures like that are to be expected when someone as lovely as Princess Diana would be turning 50. I have to agree with the majority of people that it was in really poor taste. I can just hear the rumor mills running on about how she really isn’t dead. Rather like the rumor mills ran on about Elvis still be alive.
Something I have missed since her death was her sense of style. She had a perfect mix of casual and glam. No wonder so many people chose to copy her style. Emulation is the highest form of flattery.
